Vivo's upcoming V80 smartphone could be priced at Rs 63,000 for its base variant in India, according to a leak reported by Moneycontrol ahead of the device's scheduled launch on October 6.

The leaked pricing indicates that the smartphone could be available in three storage configurations, with the top-end variant reportedly priced at Rs 80,000. Vivo has not officially confirmed these prices.

According to the report, the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant could cost Rs 63,000, while the 8GB RAM and 256GB model is tipped to be priced at Rs 70,000. The 8GB RAM and 512GB variant could carry a price tag of Rs 80,000.

The reported specifications suggest that the Vivo V80 could feature a 6.59-inch 1.5K LTPS OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. The device is also tipped to use Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor.

The camera system is expected to include a 50-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS), an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 50-megapixel telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. A 50-megapixel front camera is also reported.

The smartphone is tipped to pack a 7,200mAh battery with support for 90W fast charging. Other reported features include IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance, stereo speakers and an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.

If the leaked prices are accurate, the Vivo V80 will enter the premium smartphone segment in India. However, the final pricing, specifications and availability details remain subject to official confirmation from the company.
