Indian consumer technology brand Lumio, owned by Circuit House Technologies, has raised $12 million (around Rs 115 crore) in a funding round that includes a Series A led by Blume Ventures. Existing investors Stellaris Venture Partners and 3one4 Capital also participated in the round.
The company plans to use the fresh capital to expand its product portfolio, increase research and development, strengthen its software platform and build teams focused on customer experience.
The company said it crossed Rs 100 crore in gross merchandise value (GMV) within 13 months of starting commercial sales. Its GMV also grew more than threefold year-on-year between April and August 2026.
Lumio currently serves more than 35,000 households across over 5,000 pin codes. The company operates without its own retail stores or television advertising, and said nearly half of its TV customers are upgrading from older brands.
A significant portion of the new funding will be directed towards R&D as Lumio prepares to enter additional home technology categories and develop new products within its existing segments. Software is also expected to remain a key part of the company’s product strategy. Its TVs and projectors feature TLDR and Project Neo, an AI-powered content discovery platform that is currently in public beta and supports nine Indian languages.
Lumio also plans to establish a strategic retail presence, allowing customers to experience its products in physical locations before making purchases.
As the company expands into more categories, Lumio said it will invest in quality-control processes, product development and after-sales support. Its existing service network covers more than 300 service centres across over 19,000 pin codes.
Kailash Sankaranarayanan, Co-founder and COO of Circuit House Technologies, said the company has demonstrated its ability to develop products across multiple categories and that the new funding will support brand building and continued R&D.
Raghu Reddy, Co-founder and CEO of Circuit House Technologies, said the participation of existing investors and Blume Ventures reflects confidence in the company’s strategy and progress.
Blume Ventures Partner Sajith Pai said Lumio is benefiting from changing consumer preferences among India’s affluent households, with a significant portion of its customers moving away from established legacy brands.
With the latest funding, Lumio is looking to expand beyond its existing home entertainment portfolio while investing in AI-driven software, product development and customer service as it seeks to build a larger consumer technology brand in India.
