Indian wealth management platform Zomint has raised Rs 36 crore (about $3.75 million) in a seed funding round led by Lightspeed and Prime Venture Partners as the company looks to
expand its human-led wealth advisory services for retail investors.
Founded in September 2025 by Aman Mittal, a former product leader at Flipkart and Pine Labs, and Shavir Bansal, founder of personal finance content platform Bekifaayati, Zomint is targeting working professionals and families whose financial portfolios and responsibilities have become more complex.
The company aims to make personalised wealth management accessible to investors who may not have the multi-crore portfolios traditionally required for dedicated wealth management services. Customers can access Zomint’s platform with a monthly SIP of Rs 25,000 or a lump- sum investment of Rs ₹5 lakh.
Zomint combines human wealth experts with investment research and artificial intelligence tools. Each family is assigned a wealth expert who tracks their investments, and financial goals, identifies areas requiring attention and helps execute investment decisions, while remaining responsible for the overall client relationship.
The company's technology platform brings together portfolio information, financial goals, previous conversations and investment research. AI-based tools are used to identify actions that may require attention and track follow-ups, allowing wealth experts to spend more time advising customers and less time on administrative works.
Zomint said it has retained 97% of its clients since launching, despite market volatility over the past year. Nearly one-third of its customers have made additional investments through the platform within three months of their initial engagement.
The company currently has wealth relationship managers serving more than 250 families each, with investment specialists and AI-enabled technology supporting their work. Zomint said it has acquired its customers entirely through organic channels so far, without spending on paid customer acquisition.
The company’s customer acquisition strategy is closely linked to Bekifaayati, which has built an audience of more than 5 million subscribers across YouTube and Instagram through personal finance content. Zomint plans to expand this content-led approach through additional formats and regional languages to reach a wider investor base.
The fresh capital will be used to expand Zomint’s wealth and investment teams, strengthen its technology platform and develop its investor education ecosystem. The company also plans to increase its content and distribution efforts across regional markets.
Zomint said it intends to expand beyond domestic mutual funds over time, with plans to explore global investments and other financial services as it develops a broader wealth management platform for Indian families.
The founders said the company’s model is designed to bridge the gap between financial education and personalised advice, arguing that investors often consume significant amounts of financial content but still struggle to determine how that information applies to their own financial situations.
Lightspeed Partner Ishaan Preet Singh said India’s investment market has expanded rapidly, but access to high-quality financial expertise remains limited for retail investors. He said Zomint’s combination of technology and human-led advisory could help address that gap.
The latest funding gives Zomint additional capital to scale its technology and advisory infrastructure at a time when retail participation in India’s investment markets continues to expand. The company is positioning its human-plus-AI model as an alternative to both self- directed investing and traditional wealth management services.
