Amazon has introduced two new AI-powered devices under its Bee brand, designed to turn everyday conversations into summaries, reminders and
actionable tasks. The launch expands the company’s push into personal AI hardware that helps users organise information without manually taking
notes.
Announced on October 15, 2026, the products are the Bee Frontier, a wearable wristband that can also clip onto clothing, and the Bee Eclipse, a slim device that attaches magnetically to a smartphone. Amazon acquired Bee in 2025.
The Bee Frontier is available in the United States for $74.99. It features dual microphones, IP67 water resistance and up to seven days of battery life. The Bee Eclipse costs $99.99, offers more than 21 days of battery life and is expected to become available soon.
Both devices process conversations to generate summaries, identify commitments and suggest follow-up actions. They can also connect with services such as Gmail, Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook, helping users organise schedules, draft follow-up emails and create calendar invitations based on discussions.
Amazon is also introducing optional integrations with Alexa+ and its online shopping platform. Users who connect their accounts can access personal summaries through Alexa+ and receive shopping suggestions based on items mentioned in conversations.
Privacy remains a key consideration for devices that process everyday conversations. Amazon says audio is processed in real time and deleted, while transcripts are encrypted and remain under users’ control. Both devices have a physical control to start or stop processing and an indicator light to show when they are active. The Bee Eclipse also prompts users to obtain permission from call participants when recording begins.
Bee offers conversation summaries and 14-day memory without an additional subscription. Its optional Bee Pro plan costs $11.99 per month and includes expanded summaries, third-party app integrations, a personal AI assistant, and access to Alexa+ and Amazon shopping features.
According to Amazon, new customers also receive a 30-day Bee Pro trial. The launch highlights Amazon’s efforts to bring AI into everyday activities through dedicated hardware. However, wider adoption will depend on the devices’ practical value, the strength of their privacy safeguards and users’ willingness to pay for additional features.
