Apple’s latest iPhone models are now available through quick-commerce platforms in India,
allowing customers in select cities to order the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max for rapid
doorstep delivery.
The two Pro models went on sale in India at 8 am on Friday, September 18. Alongside Apple
Stores and authorised retailers, platforms including BigBasket, Blinkit, Zepto and Swiggy
Instamart have joined the launch-day sales in selected locations.
BigBasket reported strong demand during the first hour of sales. The company said it had delivered more than 300 iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max devices by 9 am, equivalent to more than five phones a minute. The devices were sold through BigBasket’s Electronics Store in partnership with Croma. BigBasket’s launch-day selection included the 256GB iPhone 18 Pro, 256GB iPhone 18 Pro Max and AirPods 5 with Active Noise Cancellation.
The iPhone launch highlights the growing role of quick-commerce platforms in India's electronics market. Companies that traditionally focused on groceries and everyday essentials are increasingly adding smartphones and other high-value products to their catalogues.
Blinkit is offering the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max in cities including Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Jaipur and Lucknow. The platform is also listing other new Apple products, including the Apple Watch Series 12 and AirPods 5.
Zepto has also listed the two Pro models in Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Chennai, while Swiggy Instamart has joined the launch-day rollout in selected markets. Availability and delivery times depend on location and local inventory.
The iPhone 18 Pro starts at ₹1,64,900 for the 256GB variant. The 512GB, 1TB and 2TB versions are priced at ₹1,89,900, ₹2,39,900 and ₹3,14,900, respectively. The iPhone 18 Pro Max starts at ₹1,79,900 for 256GB, with the 512GB, 1TB and 2TB variants priced at ₹2,04,900, ₹2,54,900 and ₹3,29,900.
Customers can also purchase the new models through Apple Stores and other authorised retail and online channels. At the same time, queues were reported outside Apple Stores in several Indian cities as customers sought to get the new phones on launch day.
The quick-commerce rollout marks a shift in the way consumers can access newly launched premium smartphones. Instead of waiting in physical queues or for conventional e-commerce deliveries, customers in eligible locations can now order the devices through delivery platforms, subject to stock availability.
