Youth fashion brand Wrogn has reported ₹125 crore in gross merchandise value (GMV) for the
first quarter of FY27, marking a 40% year-on-year increase, according to a company
announcement on Monday.
The company has set a ₹600 crore GMV target for FY27 as it plans to expand its direct-to- consumer (D2C) operations and exclusive brand outlets.
Wrogn also said its EBITDA loss improved by 34% during the quarter. The announcement comes after the company reported an improvement in its operating performance during FY26.
For FY26, Wrogn reported net revenue of ₹244 crore. Its adjusted EBITDA loss declined to ₹38 crore from ₹54 crore in FY25, a reduction of ₹16 crore. The company said the adjusted figures exclude a one-time, non-operational expense.
The brand said its D2C and exclusive brand outlet business grew 120% year-on-year. Wrogn currently sells through online marketplaces including Myntra, Flipkart, Ajio, Amazon, Nykaa, Tata CliQ and Zilo.
It also has a presence across large-format retail chains, including Pantaloons, Shoppers Stop, Fashion Factory and Centro, with more than 250 retail doors, according to the company.
Wrogn said it is using TMRW's proprietary technology and AI modules across several parts of its retail operations. These include trend spotting, demand forecasting, merchandise management, content creation and catalogue creation.
The use of AI is aimed at helping the brand identify changing consumer trends, estimate product demand and manage merchandise across its retail channels. The company has also introduced AI-led merchandise management as part of changes to its store operations, with the technology being used to address inventory availability and product freshness.
Rather than using AI only for customer-facing applications, Wrogn is therefore applying the technology to operational functions such as planning inventory and deciding what products and trends to focus on.
For FY27, Wrogn plans to increase its presence through D2C channels and exclusive brand outlets, with a target of more than 100 stores by March 2027.
The company is also expanding beyond its traditional denim and shirt categories. Wrogn said its Wrogn Active and footwear businesses have reached a combined annualised revenue run rate of ₹60 crore.
The brand's recent marketing campaigns have featured Virat Kohli and Ibrahim Ali Khan. According to Wrogn, campaigns including Imperfections and Failures generated 15.5 million impressions across platforms.
Wrogn was founded by Anjana Reddy and Vikram Reddy in collaboration with Virat Kohli in 2014. The company is backed by Accel and TMRW, an Aditya Birla Group digital venture.
The company said its focus for FY27 will remain on expanding owned retail channels, growing its marketplace presence and using technology across its retail operations as it works towards the ₹600 crore GMV target.
