Google has introduced a new set of Gemini tools aimed at helping small business owners manage everyday operations, understand customer feedback and create marketing content with the support of artificial intelligence.

Announced on October 21, the update includes a dedicated business landing page within the Gemini app, designed to bring several business-related tasks together in one place. The tools are intended to help entrepreneurs spend less time on routine work and more time developing their businesses.

The new business hub will allow users to build their brand, analyse business performance and gain insights from customer feedback. Google is also expanding Gemini’s connections with services such as Google Business Profile, Google Ads and Google Workspace, alongside third- party platforms including Shopify, Canva, Adobe, Wix and Zoho.

Another key addition focuses on brand-specific visual content. Business owners can upload their websites, brand kits, fonts and colour palettes to establish a consistent visual identity. Using Google’s Nano Banana 2.1 image-generation model, Gemini can then create marketing visuals that follow those guidelines for product launches and promotional campaigns.

The update also introduces financial analysis capabilities. Gemini can turn information from spreadsheets, receipts and purchase records into visual summaries and interactive financial models, helping business owners interpret their data more easily.

Google said tens of millions of small business owners already use Gemini for tasks such as developing product ideas, managing customer feedback and analysing business performance. The company highlighted examples of entrepreneurs using its AI tools for product descriptions, marketing content, agricultural planning and business branding.

The new business landing page, marketing and finance capabilities, and additional app connections are beginning to roll out globally in the coming days to Gemini app users.

The announcement reflects Google’s broader effort to make AI tools more accessible to smaller businesses that may not have dedicated teams for marketing, data analysis or financial planning.
