SpaceX Eyes $60 Billion Acquisition of AI Coding Startup Cursor

SpaceX announced it has secured the right to acquire AI coding startup Cursor in a deal valued at up to $60 billion, with an alternative structure involving $10 billion tied to ongoing joint work between the two companies. The partnership, operating under the “SpaceXAI” banner, is focused on building advanced coding and knowledge-work AI systems to compete with leading developer-focused models.
