Swedish home furnishings retailer IKEA is set to open its second store in Bengaluru on November 5, 2026, expanding its presence in South Bengaluru with an 80,000-square-foot outlet at Purva Zentech on Kanakapura Main Road.

Located near Konanakunte Cross Metro Station, the new city-centre store will offer more than 5,200 products, including over 3,000 items available for immediate takeaway.

Customers will also be able to access IKEA's wider catalogue of more than 7,000 products through the store, website, mobile application and Shop by Phone service.

The outlet will feature a 100-seat restaurant serving Swedish specialities alongside local food options. Its product range will focus on practical furniture, space-saving solutions and changing household needs in South Bengaluru.

IKEA India CEO Patrik Antoni said the company had used insights gathered from Bengaluru customers over the past five years to design the new store, adding that the expansion would make IKEA more accessible and convenient for shoppers.

IKEA entered Bengaluru through online sales in 2021 and opened its first physical store in Nagasandra in June 2022. While the Nagasandra outlet spans approximately 4.6 lakh square feet, the new South Bengaluru store will follow a smaller city-centre format focused on neighbourhood accessibility.

The new outlet adds to IKEA's growing presence in Bengaluru, combining physical retail access with its online shopping services.
